HYBETA, in collaboration with the University Hospital of Münster, has previously tested a device from another manufacturer. Both studies reached the same conclusion: air purifiers can play a role in combating the pandemic.
However, it is not advisable to forego ventilation. Air purifiers should primarily be viewed as a supplementary measure to normal ventilation, as the lowest aerosol concentrations in the test were achieved specifically through the combination of ventilation and air purifiers.
