According to initial reconstructions, the man was performing maintenance work when, for reasons still being investigated by the authorities and occupational health officials, he fell from a height of approximately ten meters. Despite the timely intervention of the 118 emergency services, there was nothing that could be done for the worker.

The Prosecutor’s Office has opened a case to shed light on the incident and to verify compliance with current regulations, as well as the effectiveness of the individual and collective protection systems adopted on-site.
