Nick holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in clinical research.
His research involved the execution of multiple clinical studies with an innovative medical device that was being developed at the Department of gastroenterology at KU Leuven. This work resulted in the creation of a spin-off company where he continued as Clinical Project Manager. Responsibilities included the creation of the clinical development strategy, creation of clinical investigation plans and other essential study documents, study start-up, site and vendor oversight, safety management, data management, medical writing, clinical evaluation and KOL management.
Nick is an open-minded, flexible team player who is passionate about translating science into clinical benefit for patients.
